The very excellent thing about hanging baskets is that they are an entirely portable, they also form unique little landscapes in their own right. You can redesign them each year and they will become the total  fashion victim to your horticultural fantasies and colour whims. The trick in creating a fabulous  hanging basket or trough is to consider  the following, your house colour, house design and then............ go completely mental, clash, contrast or keep in tone, it really doesn't matter because you can change it next year and it always works brilliantly  for that year.
